Novacero is a company founded in 1973 that specializes in creating, producing and distributing construction materials. These materials serve the metal-mechanical industry, as well as provide road and industrial solutions. In terms of steelworks capacity, Novacero can reach a monthly production of up to 21,000 tons. There are production lines that can yield around 600 tons daily. Its profile line has a daily production of 200 tons. The mesh section averages between 20,000 and 21,000 tons per month. In terms of finished products, Novacero produces about 18,000 or 19,000 tons per month.
The Challenge
Novacero's operational process begins with the arrival of raw materials. These raw materials are counted using Zebra devices, then they go straight to production plants where the entire transformation process takes place. The transformation information of the finished products is kept in Novacero's ERP, but it is supplemented with the data captured and read by the Zebra devices.
