Zebra Technologies Wins Four Australian Good Design® Awards for Design and Innovation

Zebra’s wearables, mobile computers and ruggedized tablets receive Australia’s most prestigious international design and innovation awards

MELBOURNE, Australia – 15 Oct., 2024 – Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a leading digital solution provider enabling businesses to intelligently connect data, assets, and people, today announced that its PS30 personal shopper series, WT6400/WT5400 wearable computers, RS2100 wearable scanners, and ET60 Android enterprise tablets have been recognised with 2024 Australian Good Design® Awards in the product design category.

Celebrated since 1958, the Good Design® Awards is Australia’s oldest, most prestigious international design and innovation awards program. Zebra’s award-winning products and solutions include:

  • PS30 personal shopper series – The PS30 is designed to enable retailers to provide a transformative, low-friction and personalised in-store shopping experience, leveraging shoppers’ digital identities and preferences from their loyalty accounts. With it, consumers can access shopping lists, dietary recommendations, and coupons along with real-time directions to items in the store. They can also scan and bag items as they shop, get help from a virtual or live assistant with the press of a button, and skip the checkout line with tap-to-pay — all on the sleek, stylish device.
  • WT6400 and WT5400 wearable computer – The next generation of hands-free wearable computing is designed for productivity and ease of use. This makes it ideal for sorting out goods and managing inventory in the retail environment, warehouse, distribution centre and manufacturing plant.
  • RS2100 wearable scanner – Zebra’s smallest enterprise wearable scanner features an innovative back-of-hand design that provides both comfort and dexterity. It is specifically designed for easy picking in tight spaces and is simple to purchase, deploy, wear and manage.
  • ET60 Android enterprise tablet – The ET60 is the most versatile rugged Android tablet, engineered to endure harsh environments such as warehouses and manufacturing plants. The tablet is drop tested to concrete and built to withstand extreme conditions, including freezing temperatures, blazing heat, dust, and corrosion. Designed to maximise productivity, it is equipped with a powerful processor, a high-capacity removable battery, advanced range data capture, and the latest wireless connectivity options, among other features.

“It is an honour for Zebra to receive this recognition by the prestigious Good Design® Awards,” said Tom Christodoulou, Sales Vice President, Zebra Technologies Australia and New Zealand & India and Sub-Continent. “This honour highlights our ongoing commitment to provide products and solutions that boost productivity and enhance user experiences across the industries we serve.”

The winners were selected by more than 70 Australian and international jurors including designers, engineers, architects and thought leaders who assessed excellence in architectural design, precinct design, engineering, fashion, digital and communication design.
