Leading logistical provider in Vietnam digitally transforms to better support its customers
Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM – Sep. 21, 2023 – Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a leading digital solution provider enabling businesses to intelligently connect data, assets, and people, today announced Nhat Tin Logistics has successfully introduced Zebra’s scanning solution at all of its branches to enhance the traceability of received parcels and keep up with increased deliveries driven by consumers’ heightened expectations within the on-demand economy.
E–commerce is reportedly the fastest growing Third-Party Logistics (3PL) market segment globally. Retailers are increasingly relying upon 3PLs to help manage omnichannel and e–commerce supply chain operations. In Vietnam, the e-commerce market hit US$14 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach US$32 billion by 2025.
As one of Vietnam’s express delivery companies, Nhat Tin Logistics has an operating network covering all 63 provinces in Vietnam and is trusted by many renowned global brands and fast-growing local enterprises.

Previously, Nhat Tin Logistics was using consumer smartphones to perform the scanning of its received parcels as part of its track and trace process. This was relatively time consuming because the smartphone cameras were slow and had difficulty capturing blurry barcode labels on the parcels. Nhat Tin had to constantly reprint the barcode labels which resulted in increased operational cost and wasted time. The smartphones also tend to run out of battery quickly, which contributes to operational downtime.
The solution implemented by Nhat Tin Logistics includes Zebra’s DS2278 handheld scanner and DS9308 hands-free scanner. Powered by PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology, Zebra’s scanners can quickly and easily capture poorly printed, damaged, crinkled, faded, truncated and low contrast barcodes. The long battery life of these scanners reduces the need to recharge throughout the day, so users count on them to last all day.
Nhat Tin Logistics worked closely with Zebra PartnerConnect reseller, Total Solutions Logistics Ltd, to implement and deploy the solution. TSL’s approach was to provide a total and comprehensive logistics solution – a "one-stop logistics solution" to enhance the overall efficiency, optimize processes and save costs for Nhat Tin Logistics' warehouse operations. After understanding the business challenges faced by Nhat Tin Logistics, TSL collaborated with Zebra to come up with a tailored solution that best catered to its desired outcomes of optimizing cost, efficiency, and resources.
